The Alien
Director: Matt Lyons Tagline: I'm an alien! A hapless alien at the observatory spots an incoming asteroid and warns his pals. Through a series of events it is unable to evacuate himself, but things work out well in the end. A funny short with some interesting ideas and great character designs. It reminded me a lot of another short called "The Tooth" which also had an alien and played around with a sense of scale. Hopefully this director will do more work in the future or at least upload this film to Youtube so more people can enjoy it. Rating: 7/10
