Director: Matthew Landers Tagline: Weird! A strange owl-like being plays magical music on his piano to bring some pressed butterflies to life, one of them goes down into his stomach and meets up with a glittery disco version of the owl, weird stuff happens. Okay, what just happened here? It was good to see a short that was totally devoted to off the wall weirdness, even if was a bit hard to follow at times. I had no idea why, but someone in the audience kept cracking up laughing throughout this movie. There were some interesting ideas in this short however, and I hope the director is encouraged by the screening at this festival to do more work. Rating: 7/10
