Ashes to Ashes
Director: Simon Black Tagline: Death chain reaction A very simple concept, brilliantly executed with one death causing a chain reaction that leads to many more deaths. I thought the characters were great, especially the melodramatic flowers and philosophical atoms. This short was the well-deserved winner on the night and the director has already found work in the industry no doubt as a result of this film. Well worth checking out if you get the chance to see it and hopefully the director's future work is up to similar standard. Rating: 9/10
