Wayward Fancies & Fingerbone Bill
Greyhound Hotel Unfortunately I missed the Wayward Fancies CD launch earlier in the year, so I made sure I kept this Sunday free after I was told about this gig a few weeks back. It was a special occasion as both Ali and Jules are pregnant and it was going to be their last gig for quite a while. Even though Ali's belly looked ripe for poking, I decided against it this time as I didn't know if she would see the funny side of it. Special guests for this gig were Fingerbone Bill who played after the Wayward Fancies and they also did a duet for the last few songs. I thought it was a great gig and I decided against going to the karaoke afterwards for once as I wanted to go up to the Pint for the one. All the best to Ali and Jules for their happy days and I hope to see both of them performing again in the future. |
