The Toot Toot Toots
with Death Valley Band, Plague Doctor, Go Gadget Girl Go Go! I had heard a bit about this band and someone had suggested the Go Gadget Girl Go Go! dancers to me on Facebook, but I really had not had the time to go see them until recently. Even though the Toff in Town has to finish pretty early, people still can't really bothered to turn up until half way through the second band so it was a bit quite for the Death Valley Band. Cheers to Michael who came to see his friend play in Plague Doctor, I thought they went well and the lead singer kept shedding his clothes during the set as it was quite hot. It was a shame the streamer tubes did not fire though. The one that did made enough of a mess as did all those pages from the book. I liked the gospel song and thought it should have been earlier in the set. Quite a lot of people by the time the Toot Toot Toots started and there were a lot of people dancing during the show. Special guests for a few songs were the Go Gadget Girl Go Go! dancers and they were nice to have in the show. I should have stayed for a bit longer to talk to them after the show but will do that next time hopefully. Special guest on the mandolin was Danny Walsh who I also got to have a talk to before the show.
