The Re-mains
with Fireside Bellows, Sarah Carroll, Suzannah Espie & Marcel Borrack I had been looking forward to seeing the Re-mains do two nights since I heard about these dates earlier in the year. I even changed around some of the other things I was planning on doing to fit in it my calendar. On the Thursday night I ended up going home to drop off my bag and arrived back at the Greyhound in time to see the last part of Fireside Bellows set. I thought they went really well and they had a lot of people with them. The Re-mains played really well even if they said they were tired from driving all day. I was glad I went on the Thursday as they played some songs I didn't hear the next night. At their Retreat show I was outside doing a photo shoot for them so I missed the first part of Sarah, Suzannah and Marcel's set, but I did enjoy the rest of it when I came back in and the early crowd had a good time. The dance floor was cleared for the Re-mains show and after a slow start even some of the people from the beer garden came in to have a dance. Best of luck for the Re-mains in their tour of Canada and hopefully their new album will be released on their return.
