Mary Gauthier
with Tania Elizabeth, Charles Jenkins I had seen Mary Gauthier play at the Queenscliff Music Festival the previous weekend, but I had missed the start of her set and was looking forward to seeing a longer show from her at the Caravan after also seeing her play an in store at the Basement Discs earlier in the year. Support for the night was Charles Jenkins who had to compete with the cicadas from outside as it was a steamy night. It was a very special performance from Mary Gauthier and Tania Elizabeth and I even ended up sitting down for most of the show so I could watch it myself. I don't often say what my favourite photos are from a show, but I do like the ones of Tania looking at Mary while they are playing. I even ended up buying a CD from Mary so I could get it signed as I liked the show so much. Hopefully Mary Gauthier had a good time at her other shows and comes back soon.
