Burlesque D'Amour
with Man's Ruin Burlesque & Hi Ball Burlesque I was really looking forward to this night as I knew it would be something special. Unfortunately, my friend had to work, but I am sure she would have loved it if she was able to make it. Having Man's Ruin Burlesque and Hi Ball Burlesque doing a show together really gave me the chance to see the difference in their styles and appreciate them more. I loved how Hi Ball are very stylish while Man's Ruin goes for the glamour route. It was funny to hear how some the women in the crowd were screaming and starting to lose their minds when the acts were performing. In particular one woman kept screaming for Lola Cherry Cola when she came on stage. I thought all the acts were really great and I enjoyed seeing Diamond Deluxxe singing some songs to break up the action. Guy Le Guy is a great MC and it would be great if he sang some songs in the future. After the show I was hot and tired, but very happy as the taxi driver told me as he drove me home. |
