The Band Who Knew Too MuchNorthcote Pool, Friday 19th February 2010 I had work on the Friday so I wasn't sure I was going to make it home and then back to Northcote, but luckily I finished early this time so I was able to get home easily and arrived at the pool just in time for the band to start. For future reference the 246 bus from the Pint on Punt stops right outside, saving me the transfer in Clifton Hill and the 15 minute walk. I had gone to see the band last month, but only for the one set and it was too squish in the Pinnacle courtyard so I lost my seat when I got up to get a drink. Plenty of room at the pool to stand around or watch the band from in the pool if you wanted to. Most of the dancing was in the second set when it also got dark, but the swimming pool mascots also had a boogie as they walked past. It was dark by the time the band finished and they made an announcement the outdoor pool was closing about five minutes after the band finished, but I thought it was a good night. Next time I will ask some more people if they want to go ahead of time and actually have a swim.
