The Band Who Knew Too MuchGreyhound Hotel, Sunday 2nd March 2008 I hear Dave playing with Dan Warner on JVG's radio show every Sunday, but I had never gotten around to seeing the Band Who Knew Too Much as I always seemed to be on the other side of town when they were playing. I decided to make an effort this time as they don't get across the Yarra that often (I missed their gig at the Astor also), even though it would mean I would miss two other gigs I wouldn't have liked to go see. I already knew Dave was a great accordion player having seen him at BBQ Day, on JVGs show and busking with Dan Warner. I had seen a couple of the other band members playing in other bands and liked them also. Together they played really well and hopefully I will get the chance to see them around town and at festivals. I would tell other people to go see them and hopefully their gig at the Pint on Punt next month goes well. The highlight of the gig was Dave playing on the tables and the bar, which also impressed the pub owners as they asked for a photo of it before the gig had even ended. Hopefully they get to play at the Greyhound again as I am sure more people would come and the band liked playing there.
