These shorts reminded me of the Eastern European animated shorts from the 1970s that used to screen on the ABC in the 1980s, it was a bit of a shock to see they were made this year as they looked much older. I loved the simple lines and how the animator managed to bring so much humour through them.

There were two different stories screened one about love with a funny punch line and another about glory, which was a bit confusing.

I would like to see more animations from this director in the future and I am sure there will be as the two shown seemed to be part of an ongoing series.
