Chainsaw Maid (2007)

Director: Takena Nagao

Tagline: Super cute with chainsaws

A traditional maid defends the family home against a zombie attack, first with a broom and then a chainsaw. Even after all the blood and guts, she remains the humble family servant.

Having recently seen the Machine Girl and Tokyo Gore Police I enjoyed this short as the violence in the previous two was very cartoonish. Having it as a claymation short makes it more innocent though and there was nice use of a synthesiser for the character voices.

Pretty much like a lot of zombie films, but I liked the zombie that kept kicking her after she sawed its arms off.

Is easy enough to find around the place if you want to find it.
