McLeod at the information booth in front of the Town Hall said something similar, but there was other stuff going wrong in the show (like Frank slipping off his crutches) so it was difficult to know which parts of the show where staged. THE SPIDERS!" I remember seeing Lano and Woodley on TV about 10 years ago when they were chasing Anthony Morgan down the street trying to get on Denton's show that was on Channel 7 at the time. This was a couple of months before they won a Perrier Award at an overseas comedy festival and their career took off. Due to an accident during the show last week, Frank Woodley was on crutches. This didn't really effect the show much as they still did most of their material. As it was a stinking hot night and a technical problem caused a 1/2 hour delay in the show, Colin was a bit snappy with the audience (even though it was funny.) Frank also a good time telling a nine year old in the front row not to swear and then swearing his head off as a demonstration. Other reviewers have already gone into detail about the spinning staircase prop, but despite what I heard it didn't stuff up at all during the show. Some other things did go wrong during the show like their suitcase catching on fire (it was staged I have been told.) The really strong unpredictable element in the show added heaps to the performance and made it much funnier - even if some of it was just from laughing at their misfortune. This show is going to sell out for the rest of the festival, so hopefully they will go on tour with it or release a version on DVD. I have had problems with the SMTP server on the server before, but that was due to changing a setting for relaying on the server. This time there have been no changes to the SMTP settings and the mail is just sitting in the Queue folder on the server. It is also trying to send "delivery status" messages back to the person who sent the email through the site (which fail as our site has never allowed sending emails to an external address.) Is there an FAQ or list of steps to follow to correct this problem? Any searches I do just seem to turn up people discussing the matter with no solutions. It's like Google wants to be useful or > something. Bastards. As noted the Google backlash has started, most likely due to competitors who want to lower the stock price when the IPO is launched. Similarly to Microsoft, it's not like anyone is going to use a different method of searching now. As usual in these types of movies, Stockholm Syndrome develops but not before some excellent set pieces including the shootout in the shopping mall and a nasty assassin trying to get the body of his brother back (Hint : if someone stuffs something in you mouth, say a roll of banknotes, breathe through your nose stupid!) Jet Li is excellent in this movie in the gunplay scenes and even better in the final showdown between the assassin and the other hired killers. As with the movie "My Father is a Hero" I would warn that this movie has some bad stuff happening to kids in it. I would recommend this movie to people who have seen Jet Li movies such as the Once Upon a Time in China series and want to see how he plays a more modern character (without having to watch Hollywood movies.) === The Barefooted Kid Starring: Aaron Kwok - The Kid Maggie Cheung - Owner of the Four Winders Dyers Ti Lung - assistant to the Owner Aaron Kwok plays a fresh-faced country bumpkin who arrives in town looking for work after his father dies. He ends up at the Four Winds Dyers run by a widow played by Maggie Cheung and her assistant played by Ti Lung. Things are not going well for them as the right hand man of the local Lord is corrupt and hassling them all the time to get control of their business. The Kid tries to help them out, but is a bit overenthusiastic and is told to leave before he gets them into more trouble. Just as he is about to leave on the ferry his girlfriend of sorts (the one who tricked him into learning how to write "sonoabitch" instead of his real name - primary school teachers can be really mean sometimes), comes to see him off and he decides to take a job with the Lord's assistant so he won't be bullied. Settling in to his new shoes and fine pimpin' clothes he rushes back to his friends to give them presents, only to find his girlfriend is not too impressed with his new job (you can't please everyone.) Also the evil dude is trying to set him up for a fall so you just know what is coming. There are some great fighting scenes towards the end though. I have to admit I forgot some of the plot of this movie as whenever Maggie Cheung appeared on screen I only watched her. I did like Aaron Kwok in the fight scenes though, especially in the tournament where he big black foot marks on peoples faces. I don't know if he is in many other Kung Fu movies though. If you like dramatic Kung Fu movies that are different to the usual Shaolin Temple vs. Bad Guys setting I would recommend this movie to you.
